Tall Juan – Olden Goldies

Tall Juan has a rad psych surf thing going on and I had a blast recording and mixing a couple songs in one day at Converse Rubber Tracks last year. His latest album is out now on BUFU records. Check “Baby” & “Cuida Coches” below.

Manfred Kircheimer’s “Spraymasters” | MoMA

Manny Kircheimer’s seminal “Stations of the Elevated” and the followup “Spraymasters” are getting the retrospective treatment at the MoMA in February. I thoroughly enjoyed mixing the “Spraymasters” film a few years ago. Have a look below and go check the films out if you’re a fan of music and graffiti and NYC.

Goodbye Leonard Cohen

I’ve enjoyed recording and mixing Mark Grandfield’s projects for many years, and upon hearing of Leonard Cohen’s passing I thought back o mixing Mark’s rendition of the Cohen tune, “Dance Me to the End of Love”. What a beautiful song, and this band is dripping in vibes… Enjoy below,

Satellites04 Glitch review

This guys likes it!

“Its lyrics are opaque, like the blurred image of the cover. 0.4 is a welcome gift, an album capturing the moment in a man’s life, which he has the generosity to share, so that perhaps we might feel empowered by the shocks that we all dread.”

Saso Sandic sessions at The Carriage House

Had a lovely session tracking a killer band (Tony Garnier, Joe Bonadio, Oz Noy and Clifford Carter) for talented singer/songwriter Saso Sandic up at the Carriage House studios in Stamford, CT. Gorgeous SSL and studio.

Andrea Daly – “Right Here” EP

Recorded my brother’s lovely wife, Andrea Daly, at Rubber Tracks a while back and she’s just finished polishing up the tracks with some great players and released it on all digital formats and avenues. Enjoy a couple tracks here:
