Allison Weiss – “Remember When” EP

News

No Sleep Records artist, Allison Weiss, released a new EP of super catchy pop songs this week. I mixed and mastered the EP and the lovely and uber talented Joanna Katcher produced the tracks from her west coast perch. The sun is shining all through these tracks. Roll the windows down and turn these up…

News

“Pinos” is the first new video from the new album of material by Didi Gutman (Brazilian Girls) and my good friend and roster-mate, Hector Castillo. I had the pleasure to master the new album recently and the guys posted this video online along with a cool interview on Refinery29.com

Schwarz Don’t Crack & Me interviewed in German Vice

News

Noisey interviewed the last band in my Berlin Rubber Tracks marathon, Schwarz Don’t Crack, and Jan had a few questions for me as well. It seems a bit bizarre going from my english answers to german and back to english via google translate, so some of what I said sounds ridiculous. The rest just is ridiculous. Have a look and a laugh at me, and a listen to Schwarz Don’t Crack… Serious RnB vibes from NY to Berlin.

Berlin press!

News

I’m in Berlin for 2 weeks recording 14 bands for Converse Rubber Tracks popup studio in Berlin. One of the bands is Soundmonsters and they had the radio station FluxFM hanging out. Somehow I got asked a few questions and well, I dunno if the answers are funny or what. Have a look at the translation and a listen to the band.

Even get a little taste of the rough mix we did in the 8 hours we recorded and worked together.

Arlen Hart – “Winter Song”

News

I popped over to Arlen’s place to record this track on his new upright piano. The piano is amazing, sounds so full and lush, much larger than uprights I’ve heard in the past. Fitting how it snowed last night and here is Arlen’s “Winter Song”

Sandy Pussy debut album out now!

News

Sandy Pussy released a super dope record I recorded in sunny LA at The Fortress a while back. The release is on all the digital streams as well as a super limited vinyl run with some great art, check the band out… they sound like super psychedelic summertime!

Standard LA Rooftop Party a la Sandy Pussy:

Joan Osborne releases new album, “Love and Hate”

News

Had the honor of engineering an overdub session for the song, “Thirsty For My Tears,” off the brand new Joan Osborne album Love and Hate. Really fun session at Joan’s home studio which incidentally I also wired up and sorted out for her. Check the jam below, it’s the best on the album but I’m not biased or anything!

SUHCAPORN “Count to Five”

News

Mixed and mastered this for one of my favorite new New York bands, SUCHAPORN. These guys rock hard and have been recording in the lead guitar player’s basement for a few months now. Stay tune for more great proggy hard rocking melodic jams.
