Lady Moon & The Eclipse “Rollercoaster” Premiere

Greg and the band put an incredible amount of work into this album and it’s a great listen. Look for the album this spring and check out the first video for the track “Rollercoaster” below.

The kid said, “Get ready cause this ain’t funny
My name’s Mike D. and I’m about to get money.”
Pulled out the jammy aimed it at the sky
He yelled, “Stick ’em up!” and let two fly
Hands went up and people hit the floor
He wasted two kids that ran for the door
“I’m Mike D. and I get respect
Your cash and your jewelry is what I expect”

Me and Mike D.

News

One lone Beastie I Be… Well check this one off the bucket list. Mike D came in as the ‘hero’ producer for Winnipeg hiphop group “The Lytics” Rubber Tracks sessions last week and I was in the engineer’s chair. Mike and I worked on the tracks and he helped produce the group performances. We mixed and mastered two songs with them as they head out to Europe for a tour.

I probably wouldn’t be doing what I am doing if it wasn’t for the Beastie Boys, so this was incredibly special for me to get to work with a hero of mine for two days.
